Big Bang's Third Mini Album ~STAND UP~

Yeah yeah I know this is late
but they came out with this when I was on vacation
and I've been soooo busy and I really felt the need to post this since I have a strong opinion
on their new mini album.

STAND UP (INTRO)
Amazinggg beat! Loved the scratching but what's with the dog growling? That was random and unnecessary. I wish they made this into a regular song.

EVERYDAY
Love the piano part, it sets the sad tone of the song right away. The rapping in this song is so good! I especially liked TOP's parts, the part where he's rapping along with the piano crescendo is my favorite part of the song. I noticed that Seung Ri had a lot more singing parts in this song and he voice sounded better than their last mini album! It must have been all that training from his musical. The chorus is super catchy but also super poppy. When I first heard this song it really reminded off a Jpop song but as I listened to it more it grew on me.

HEAVEN
The "lalala"s at the beginning sound like that Milkshake song lol. I love how TOP and GD can say their "v"s!!! Haha any other Korean it would've been "Heaben." I wish they would've split up the chorus between DaeSung, TaeYang, and SeungRi instead of having them all sing it together. My favorite part has to be when TOP lists out "Happiness..sadness...tears" and GD lists out "Sky..star..and heaven."I felt like TOP and GD dominated this song too much though.

KIND PERSON
Loooove the guitar and harmonizing at the beginning. The beat's pretty nice and DaeSung and TaeYang did such a good job with their parts! I don't really like how SeungRi sang his part in this song. Anyone know who the girl was with the one line? Top's rapping/singing around 2:17 was awesome at first but then the low notes sounded WAYY too low for him and sounded weird, but the harmonizing between him and TaeYang was good. Loved the ending.

LADY
I think this is my favorite song because of the siiiick beat. When I first heard it I thought the "excuse me miss girl" was very awkward but whatever. I love how they split up the chorus among TaeYang and DaeSung, it sounded better than the other songs' choruses. SeungRi's part "A-Ha" was super cute. Ah I feel like this song really showed off DaeSung's voice...or maybe I'm just really biased haha. I feel like the rapping and singing parts were evenly distributed among the members compared to the other songs on this mini album. Aw GD's laugh at the end ^^

OH MY FRIEND
Okay first I will say that DaeSung sounded amazing singing his part. Now that's the only good thing I can say about this song. Why? Because I don't like rock-especially hoarse screaming rock whether Big Bang's in this song or not. Also the rapping didn't go with the song and felt really awkward.

Overall the mini album is a 3/5 for me. When I hear Big Bang I think hip hop and R&B. I think YG Entertainment-origin of Korea's hip hop and R&B. I was disappointed when I heard the album because it seems like Big Bang has left hip hop completely. Reading through Big Bang's thread on Soompi, no one seemed bothered by this fact and were happy that Big Bang was exploring different genres. Big Bang was different than every other Korean boy group because they were a hip hop and R&B group among tons of generic KPop groups, now I have no idea where they stand. I was so excited for their comeback because they had all grown so much individually doing their own thing while Big Bang's activities stopped and I knew when they got together the result would be ah-mazing. But now..eh. If I had expected a pop album, yes I would've liked this album more but I was expecting a hip and R&B one. Before everyone hates on me just know I've been a fan of Big Bang forever and still am and I think they're one of the most talented boy groups out there and all are so good at what they do. I hope they return to their roots with their next album/mini album.

Gah it's already August!!! T-T

AnSol and WitchBug couples along with 5th wheel DonDon are being trained on how to ride the banana boat.

IY-"This isn't the army!! What is this???!!!" as they go from right to left faster and faster lol.

IY-This is scary isn't it?
Instructor-No, it's fun.
IY-How is this fun? How is this fun? Can you explain how this ride is fun?

DD-IY we came all the way here and you don't want to ride anything?
IY-I didn't want to come here! I was just dragged here! I had to ride a TRAIN here!!!

Solbi is scared to ride..

Super cute Crown Young moments ^^

DD tries to drag Solbi into the water but Andy stops him.

The husbands protecting their wives annoy single DD haha.

J carries IY into the water but she freaks out because she thinks the lifesaver isn't working and she's sinking but J manages to calm her down and show her that she's floating. She then looks towards Sobli who's even more freaked out and covers up her own little freak out by saying that every thing's fine.

DD and Andy try to convince Solbi that the life vest will float (do you really need convincing for this??? )

Andy waits in the water for Solbi to jump in when she's ready but DD just pushes her in.

Andy's there to catch her!! (Just in case her life vest is a defect or something and doesn't float and all...but still it's cute! ^^)

Then DD goes and practices on the banana boat himself.

DD says the wives' eyegazes scare him. (Considering you're ruining their day...yeah you should be scared DonDon.)

Single DD gets help from the instructor to put on his helmet thing while the couples help each other. (I didn't have to wear a helmet when I went on a banana boat.....)

Haha IY's absolutely terrified

They get ready to ride...

but they get water sprayed on them by the boat and start yelling like crazy ahhhh..

J-We all didn't want to die.
he was amazed how well the five of them rode the banana boat

They have a spill at a sharp turn

and DD ends up drifting by himself while the couples huddle together

He's freaking out (even though he's floating??)

then a voice nearby goes..You can stand up...

The last episode ended with AlShin dancing and now HB and HJ join them on deck saying that they looked like they were filming a movie.

SA says for the lettuce couple to dance so HB turns on some fast paced music to show off her techotonic (?) dance moves.

So the lettuce couple starts dancing a cute dance with a hand on their hats

and AlShin look on with amusement.

ahh they are so cute

then HJ goes and spins around on a pole with his feet in the air
HB-Wow cool! How'd you do that?
HJ-Music, today I must be crazy!! (haha what a freak)

DD starts freaking out at every bit of skinship between the couples. (Really why did they invite him??!!!!!!)

When Andy helps his hyung across a river DD initiates skinship.....

then lays down on the blanket like he does with couches..and beds..then IY points towards his head and goes "It's a bug! It's a bug!" he sits up right away lol.

They decide to eat the watermelon Andy brought but DD is being difficult again and says he can't eat watermelon. Andy takes out a medium sized knife to cut the watermelon, DD yells at him saying that you can't cut a watermelon with that!!

and just like that the water splits cleanly in half.

SIY-Wow his hands are like a mother's hands (referring to Andy)
Solbi-Andy umma! (Andy mom!)
Andy gives watermelon to everyone but DD and DD looks like he really wants some...

DD spits out a watermelon seed and it lands on his nose. He wants to make it into a game to see who makes dinner.
Andy-I'm going to make dinner.
DD-Why do you only do it?
Andy-Usually when you go out like this, the man cooks.
DD-You always cook at home though.
Andy-No, Solbi does it all!
DD-What did Solbi do??!! Her mom made the kimbap...
Andy-*starts listing all the things Solbi's made*

Then DD turns to IY
DD-SIY at home you haven't cooked anything!
IY-Okay! So what?
DD-.....well yeah..I guess if all the couples were the same it wouldn't be interesting..

DD starts randomly turning all the fruit into the river

IY's PISSED

and chakan Andy collects them all

They decide to go fishing

but while Andy's helping Solbi, DD suddenly grabs his wrist saying that he has no one to hold hands with. (Seriously..WHY DID THEY INVITE HIM??!!)

J helps IY down ( so cute ^^)

DD-Why aren't you talking your hands off her waist!!??

Andy catches some fish!!

"There's nothing that Andy can't do!"

DD looks at the fish and excitedly says they should steam it and eat it!!
J just looks at him and goes "You said you can't eat fish."
DD-Ah right

Then J accidentally let's the fish slide through the net.

Andy's howl of frustration

IY's always thought that she had a strong husband but since they went on vacation with Andy and Solbi...it seems like J can't do anything. I think that was extremely harsh of her to say because J does so much for her and takes care of her. Gah ungrateful

luckily Andy goes right back in and catches another fish.

J blames DD for losing the fish earlier and everyone starts yelling at each other while DD denies that it was his fault...ahh....

AlShin and lettuce couple arrive from their fishing expedition

Alex is dead tired

so is Hwanbo. As she collapses on the sofa she says she feels like she's turning into DD.

SA drags her to their room and then HB collapses on the bed DD style.

HB talks about how Alex has leadership and even though HJ's the leader of SS501 and HB was the leader of Chakra-the Lettuce couple has no leadership skills.

KidGroom's by himself and concentrating on what looks like origami.

Alex heads over to the wife's bedroom to see what SA's doing

and HB's extremely surprised. Why?

she brought the exact same shirt he's wearing!

She jokingly asks him to take it off and give it to HJ. He says okay and heads towards HJ but HB holds him back

she begs him not to do it reminding him that HJ hates couple shirts.

HJ has no idea what's going on and is still doing his own thing

Alex easily flips HB onto the bed and heads towards HJ

HB gets up to try and stop him but SA holds her back lol

Alex goes to HJ and asks if he has a short sleeve shirt he could borrow and tells HJ to wear his shirt.

TADA!

HB hides behind SA while HJ's wondering what the heck she's doing

then she steps out from behind SA and says to HJ that she did wrong.

Alex comes by cracking up. I love how in this part Alex, SA and HB were walking around and brushing their teeth-random.

HJ says that he actually doesn't mind the couple shirts because they're not childish looking.

After hearing that HB happily skips off to the bathroom lol

HJ gives HB the three things she wanted from Japan and tells her that it was really embarrassing when he had to get the underwear.

HB gets a call and everyone wonders who it is so late at night. Alex thinks it's a man!

She has HJ answer it without letting him know who it is but the voice from the other side is clearly feminine. The other person says hello and HJ says hello and asks who it is. There's complete silence and HJ repeats his question. HB from the side goes..

it's my mom. HJ hands the phone to her right away.

she talks to her mom while chasing after HJ

SA from the bathroom yells for Alex to be over there in five seconds and starts counting down.

he gets there in three.

without a choice, HJ talks to HB's mom.

He says two things
-I'll work hard/I'll try my best
-Go rest

While SA is drying Alex's hair after putting lotion on him

the MCs ask if Park Myung Soo's wife ever dried his hair
PMS-Do I have hair?!

HB tells HJ they're go to observe and learn

haha

HB-Please rest.

What??

*nothing to say*

Do you want me to do your hair?

He ends up just giving the general a massage

SIY and Crown J get in a fight. IY doesn't like the water and doesn't want to go in but J's going fishing and so she's all alone on her little rock.

IY-SUBANG!!!!!! come here!
DD-Why? We're having fun over here
IY-Ajusshi, play by yourself. Hurry up and come over here!
J-Wait a minute. I'm over here how can I go over there?
IY-Hurry!
DD-Don't give in. (to IY)
J-IY-ah, stay over there for a minute, I'm going to catch some fish and go over there.

While they're arguing you see AnSol happily floating by.
IY-Are you just going to leave me alone here?
J-Oppa's going to catch some fish and be over there soon. Okay? Sit back and relax.
IY-Subang you catch fish, I'm going to go.
DD-Tell her to stay where she's at.
J-IY-a, stay right there!! I'll be there, just wait.
IY-*yells something at J*
J-I'm going to catch some fish why are you being like this? You're being very funny today. IY if you go right now you're leaving forever okay?
IY-Don't do something you're going to regret! I'm getting really pissed off
J-Okay I'm going!
IY-Don't come! If you come..*makes fist*

So J goes back to IY and DD follows. DD then goes "IY you must be really upset. When you come to a place like this you shouldn't be left alone." J's in total disbelief.

Alex and HJ go to the store to get food and Alex tells HJ how HB begged him not to give HJ the couple shirt.

HB and SA have a girl talk about their guys.
HB-They're talking a bunch about us now most likely (HJ and Alex). What do you like most about Alex?
SA-He does everything for me. Even the things I don't think of, he thinks of everything. The bad thing about this is that he does everything for me and I feel like I have to do everything for him too and feels sorry. What do you like best about HJ?
HB-He looks like he has no worries and is pure(?) or I guess has a sunny exterior.
SA-What do you not like?
HB-His sunny exterior.
They talk about how the good points of their husbands can also be considered bad points.

SA comes up with an idea of how to test how much the husbands treasure their wives by pretending to get in a fight with HB.

They high five a fighting

But then suddenly SA turns and does a "fist fighting"

Leaving HB hanging. HB pretends to get mad and they practice their acting

HJ tells Alex that he can't meet SA's eyes because she has cat eyes and they scare him.

Alex tells HJ he's really happy that the two couples were paired together because SA has been sooo nice to him.

They husbands are almost home

the wives prepare themselves

The guys can tell right away that something's up.

HJ's feeling really awkward and doesn't know what to do. He puts his hand on HB's shoulder and keeps asking her what's wrong.

Alex comes in and asks HB what happened. She said that SA made a mistake towards her (sorry that's worded real awkwardly) and when Alex asks her what she says to ask SA. (Since there's no reason!)

Alex asks ShinAe what happened and she says nothing. From the studio SA says "I wanted to tell him the reason but couldn't because because there was no reason."

HJ tries to get out of HB what she's upset about but she just goes in circles because she doesn't know what to say lol.

Then SA gets up to confront HB with Alex right by her side.

HJ tells HB to look at SA and talk to her and then keeps his hand on her shoulder/elbow to let her know he's there.
SA-I don't know what kind of mistake I made towards you, you can just say it. I'm younger than you and if I made a mistake towards you, you could just say "You shouldn't do something like this."
HB-You should know even if I don't say it.
SA-But I don't know.
HB-You not knowing is even ruder.
Then Alex breaks in and calmly sticks up for SA saying that she doesn't know what she did wrong so you should tell her.

SA and HB keep arguing and pretty much repeat the same things over and over again because there isn't really a reason for them to get angry at each other haha.
SA-If you told me what I did wrong I would be able to apologize to you.
HB-I just don't understand how you don't know you did something wrong when it was such a big mistake.

HJ stays quiet during the whole ordeal and looks sooo awkward

SA finally says-let's just stop

Alex looks at her and asks her what's wrong and she walks away

J and IY arrive at their humble trailer

IY's dead tired and says she can live now that DD's gone

J goes and locks the door haha

IY-Why were you playing by yourself today?
J-When? Are you talking about those 6 minutes when I was catching fish? Tell me what's wrong. IY-It's nothing.
J-You're talking about thsoe 6 minutes right?
IY-NO!!!
J-Then what? Besides that when did I leave you alone?
IY-*very quietly* 6 minutes of fishing...Well if you go by yourself you have to come back to me. Andy came back for Solbi.
J-I didn't come get you because you said you didn't want to get wet.
IY-Then you should stay with me and not leave me alone all by myself.
J-Alright. Why are you getting pissed off about little things like that?

AnSol go back to their little cabin

Andy imitates DD

Solbi tells Andy how cool he was today

J's giving IY a massage when suddenly

someone's thumping on their door

J's forced to open the door for dweji

DD-Why are you guys locking the door?!

he appears jealous of the fact that J was giving IY a massage

Alex tries to convince HB to just say why she's mad

Suddenly Hwangbo ducks her head and wipes her eyes

but no tears come out!!! hahahahaha

Alex-I don't think that you would go and say something rude. Go talk to unni and try to work things out because I really can't figure out what's going on between you two. HJ's even embarrassed right now.

HJ keeps asking HB to tell him what's wrong and shows her his ear as to prove that he'll listen to her. She cracks up.

HB says she feels better and goes "I should be more understanding since I'm the unni?"

HJ-No. Don't hold it in because you're the unni.

he puts his hand on her shoulder again

HJ-Even if it's Grandpa, if Grandpa did something wrong he did something wrong.

HB can't hold in her laughter.

They prepare themselves

but the door gets stuck lol.

HB goes and tells SA that she must've misunderstood something and then SA bursts into tears.

SA runs into the bathroom and HB tries to go talk to her but Alex ushers her away

then HJ talks to her in the living room.
HB-I hate crying. Crying means it's the end.

Alex waits outside with a worried expression.

ShinAe comes out but Alex tugs her back into the bathroom. From the studio SA says that when she went into the bathroom her tears stopped right away so she rubbed her eyes a lot before she came out to make them look red.

Alex-You didn't do anything wrong right? Then why are you crying?

HB gets up and is ready to confront SA and HJ doesn't follow, unsure what to do.

HB and SA look at each other and just grin.

HB-You didn't give me a high five!!

They high five each other and run away

lol

Haha Alex's pissed and HJ's just relieved that none of it was real and that it was over

HJ says he's thinking about divorce now haha

In good humor he manages to give HB a high five before being dragged off to his room by Alex.

Wow I was really surprised...it was interesting..I should try doing it next time.

I would really like it if something like that didn't happen again.

I wasn't expecting much, I was really surprised that he stayed by my side the whole time.

Alex was very cool and listened to my side of the story..I really liked it.

The couples mess around with DD and he gets "mad"

He walks into AnSol's cabin and at that moment they figure out he's just pretending and is probably just laying down on the sofa.

"They better come find me. They'll probably come get me when all the food's done."

*worried that no one's getting him*

J goes to get him

DD sees him thru the window and pretends to be asleep

J "wakes" DD up but DD keeps insisting he's not hungry and that he doesn't want to go

J "drags" him out of the house

DD sits down and starts eating right away

he's impressed

and starts dancing a weird dance in honor of Andy's fab cooking

Aw poor 5th wheel

AlShin and Lettuce couple go to the beach to set off fireworks that HB bought

They go through some disappointing fireworks

I love this shot of them, they look like little Korean kids plotting some mischief in the neighborhood

HB's dancing while everyone else is watching the fireworks lol

They set off this pack of fireworks but it only flickers and they're disappointed

then it shoots some pretty ones into the sky and they get excited

then it stops.

Then they use sparklers to write love in the air but it doesn't really work and they all look silly.

HJ works especially hard to make an L in the air with his sparkler ^^

ah pretty

SA runs around excitedly with her sparkler but no one's following her so she stops and says "If I'm running around like this at least one of y'all could run around with me!" So they all run around lol

SA talks about how much she enjoyed the day

Alex was really happy to see a new side of ShinAe that day. Like when she said that someone should run around with her since she's running around everywhere with the sparkler, that's something he would say. He's really excited for next week to see how SA's like.

Alex and ShinAe talk about how they thought it would be awkward hanging out with the lettuce couple but things worked out really well.

HJ tells HB to throw away the used fireworks by herself

He has an event planned!!

HB's a little pissed at having to go to the trash can by herself

Solbi thinks the couple that fits each other the best is her and Andy of course.

DD says he thinks it's CrownYoung (which I totally agree with)
He said AnSol would be second, Lettuce couple third...

and AlShin last because he doesn't like Alex haha.

They all talk about being on the show and Solbi says that it's hard to tell what's real or not and that during filming she and Andy are always awkward and she's always nervous. IY says that if the other person's sincere you'll know.

DD asks Solbi if she wants to eat a potato then puts J's head between the tongs.

IY stands up to defend her husband and says let's eat bbq and aims the tongs towards DD

awwww cute

DD says he wants to eat potato wrapped in spinach (referring to IY since she's in green) but J intercepts.

The potatoes and corn are ready!

The husbands take care of their wives and break off parts of potatoes and corn kernels so they don't burn themselves.

DD takes care of himself

haha everyone's so surprised at DD's interview! He was jealous of not having a strong wife to be able to do things with. But looking at the witchbug couple he's happy he's living by myself. "Crown J you've suffered a lot, FIGHTING!...Andy FIGHTING!"

HJ finishes up his event

As HB comes back he asks where she went haha (even though he sent her to the trashcan) and she bought some drinks for them.

HJ shows HB the border he drew in the sand and tells her he buried five things.

"Try and find them."

She finds them faster than he expected

I'm not exactly sure what he did, but I think he folded 5 more paper cranes (he gave her one in Japan) and says that if you fold 1000 your love is fulfilled (?) and he's going to fold 994 more of them for her. Also he said he's going to take good care of her for 994 days and that after that he'll fold 1000 more of a different animal.

HB says she's not going to expect rings or that kind of thing from HJ, more something that will make her smile and laugh. Those two things are the most important.

Alex has an event of sorts by drawing faces on his fingers

*scowling face* "When oppa's not there and SA's alone, whatever happens don't scowl!"

*sad face* "When you're sad or crying...don't scowl...because there's two now!"

*happy face* "When you see me, you have to smile brightly and live."

"Like today, live with oppa promise."

on his thumb he has written "Alex *heart* ShinAe"

They listen to some music

Alex writes "hand" in Korean on the sand and SA holds out her hand puzzled

They're like the old married couple that's slightly boring now. I think things will get more exciting next week when Andy meets Solbi's sister.

Crown J & Seo In Young
God I love this couple. They fit each other so well. They got in a fight today but worked it out and they had sooo much skinship this episode. I was leaning more to the lettuce couple when it came to couple that fit each other the best but CrownYoung are so comfortable with each other and know how to calm each other down and have fun.

Alex & ShinAe
The things with the fingers really seemed like something from a drama it was so corny but cute. Alex really impressed me when SA and HB got in a "fight" he was trying SO hard to work things out between them and comfort ShinAe. I loved the part where ShinAe was like "Let's just stop." and he just cocked his head and looked straight at her. ShinAe seems to get more and more comfortable with Alex and speaks to him informally half of the time. I'm excited to see how they are next week!

HyunJoong & HwangBo
I was surprised by how comfortable HJ was around Alex and ShinAe, he was able to show off his weird side with HwangBo in front of them very easily. I was a bit disappointed by how he acted during HB and SA's fight. It was nice that he was with HwangBo the whole time but he didn't really comfort her throughout the ordeal and looked so awkward like if someone was like "Okay cut!" he would've just run away. But he made up for it when he made Hwangbo laugh with the ear thing and told her that she shouldn't hold it in since she's the unni. I guess he just didn't look as cool as Alex because he's the youngest there and felt really awkward. He's also not the "sensitive" type of guy like Alex. I loved the event he did! It was lettuce couple style and super cute.

She tries to wake him up again but fails so just says she'll wake him up when breakfast's ready. He stayed up late playing video games after she left the night

He goes back to sleep right away after her suggestion.

She starts cleaning up their messy dining table

then starts making the boys breakfast.

She's making this chicken dish that JungMin said he wanted the night before

She attempts to wake HJ up again

She gives up and goes to wake up the baby brother in laws (HyungJoon and KyuJong)

They're easier to wake up than HJ

but baby HJ has problems talking and keeps stuttering and repeating himself-it's hilarious.

The way to wake HJ up is to basically tickler him but

accidentally pulls HB slightly on top of him, surprising her

He at one point grabs her wrists and pushes her away

causing her to sit on poor YoungSaeng

HJ's finally up sporting the rolled out of bed messy hair

HB triumphantly runs back to the babies' room and high fives ensue

HJ's finally up (actually up, not just awake) but can't really open his eyes

ShinAe's photoshoot is finally done

Alex brings out all the food he made

ShinAe's impressed that he made all the food by himself
in this scene she refers to him as "oppa" so that shows that they're going back to the way they were before

He uncovers all the food for the staff

he and ShinAe distribute them

Alex made a separate meal for ShinAe

She's happy ^^

She was really pleased that he went as far to make food for all the staff and then something special for ShinAe

OMG DonDon goes "Seeing Alex like this makes me want to date him.." HAHAHAHA

and now Alex has to go and broadcast his radio show.

JM goes and peers into the kitchen

scaring HB. JM says that he's the cook of SS501.

JM leaves as HJ enters the kitchen.
HJ-The food's not done yet...(Remember HB said she would wake him up when the food was ready kkkk)
HB-*ah what do I say look* it'll be done really soon

JM peers into the kitchen again
HB-You're seriously like a mother-in-law!!
JM-I have to keep making sure...do well!!

HB's reaction

He goes to the kitchen again!!

JM-Are you making rice? You're not making instant rice right?
HB-I couldn't find a rice cooker...
JM-Then you have to boil it.
HB-Mother, will you taste this?

HB-For the children's sake I made it sweet.
JM-*tastes food* HAHAHAHAHA...it's very sweet.
HB-It's very sweet?
JM-You put in ketchup didn't you?..because we're young..
HB-*annoyed face* Just this much. When you put it in the grease goes away...
JM-Did you put in green onions?
HB-There was only one and I couldn't find any here

JM-Oh did you not go shopping yesterday?
HB-I did, but I only got one..*extremely annoyed face*

JM-Oh did you make an egg dish? We really like eggs.
HB-Yeah I'm making one right here.
JM-Wow!

While HB is getting annoyed as hell in the kitchen HJ's doing his hair

HB finishes cooking! She sets out her chicken dish, the egg dish, and some ham.

The boys come in and are all impressed by the food.

I think KJ doesn't like instant rice and had funny look on his face but HJ's like "You're not doing to die, just eat it." Aw making sure no one hurts his wife's feelings.

JM's loitering in the kitchen but HB chases him out.

They all sit down to eat.

Don't HB and HJ look like a real couple here? They fit each other so well!

HJ tries some of the chicken (look at the way he holds his chopsticks! weird)

He says that it's really good!

The brother-in-laws agree.

Then HJ looks at HB in the eyes and says "Let's live together!!!"

Ahh HJ ^^

HB talks about how she was having a hard time cooking because the kitchen was so hot and such. But the happiness that she felt when everyone was enjoying her cooking made up for it.

Baby HJ talks about how it's a shame that they won't be able to taste good cooking like HB's after she leaves but HJ goes "It's okay because from now on she's living with us" ^^

At that KJ reaches across the table and high fives HB lol. He didn't even talk this episode, he just showed his feelings with high fives haha

Suddenly HB gets up

and brings her bag in.

She takes out her MP3 player and plugs it into little mini speakers...

and starts playing this up tempo music.

She also starts to dance lol

SS501 (minus YS) follow and start dancing while eating hahahaha

HB leaves the room to prepare something else

and the boys keep dancing

HB comes back in and starts pulling something out of her mouth

While they pull the stuff out of her mouth she dances to the music haha

They HJ does it...

and pretends like he's throwing up the whole thing

The nurse tells IY and J that J's blood pressure is high

but he's absolutely sure he isn't so he takes the test three times before the machine reads that he's okay.

IY shows sincere concern for J's health

IY tells J that high blood pressure is scary and she doesn't want to lose her husband.
J's like what are you talking about?!

She pushes J down on the hospital bed and is like you have to get this checkup, you're getting old now! (Isn't he like...mid 20's??)

J's freaked out and is like half crying and saying "What are you being like this??!!!"

IY explains that she's doing this because she's worried

They start attatching these things on him that test the heart.(?)

J says that the lady putting the stuff on him had the same attitude as IY's hair stylist and the mood of the situation was the same.

I think IY is sincerely worried about his health.

The test came out okay

but IY insists on J taking a blood test which he firmly refuses.

There are two things J's most scared of-cats and shots.
The scariest thing in the world for him is a cat carrying a shot lol

IY-You're not going to die if you don't take this blood test..but couples usually do it before they get married.

IY-I didn't get the chance to before we got married.
J-Slowly starts taking off his jewelery..
IY-Are you doing it? If you don't want to do it, don't do it.
J-(Quickly) Okay let's go! *grabs bracelet*
IY-*mutters* Our husband who's this size (referring to how he's muscular) can't even have his blood taken...

J sets his jewelery back down and asks the nurse to take his blood. (Dang he's whipped!)

"I'll be seeing you later Seo In Young!!" He's just going to vent all his frustration on her later lol

He's so nervous!!
He keeps saying "witch" over and over and then IY keeps sayins that she's doing this for his sake.

Then she leaves the room saying that she can't watch lol

J's just like "What is this??!!!"

Lol I love how she's laughing at this. She was pleased by how he was listening to her and glad that her "ne-jo" check up was completed.

They leave the doctor's and J's not mad and suggests going shopping which IY excitedly agreed to.

AnBi get back from the market

Andy keeps asking Solbi if she really knows how to make the eel dish and she keeps saying that she knows. But when she takes a bag out of the shopping bag she's like "What is this again?" haha

Sobli gets ready to cook

while Andy chills on the sofa.

Andy pulls a JungMin and sneaks up on SB to make sure she's cooking everything right.

He scares her ^^
She tells him that she's making dwin-jang-gook and Solbi in the WGM recording studio adds that she has confidence in making dwin-jang gook.

Andy comes into the kitchen once again to check what she's doing.

and again!

She gets him to go to sleep but he can still see everything she's doing from the bed.

Apparently he can hear everything too. S tastes the dwin-jang-gook and coughs and says "What do I do??!"

Andy from the bedroom goes ""What do I do?" is scary to hear..."

She didn't think that she heard him ^^

He sneaks up on her in the kitchen again and checks what she's doing.

He goes back the room and fiddles with something on the side.

He bought couples rings!!

Solbi puts a cat sleeping mask on the sleeping Andy ^^

IY and J are walking through this mall
J-Are you not sick anymore?
IY-Who said they were sick?
Haha so she was acting sick just to get J to go to the hospital and get a check up.

They look through shirts

IY tries on a hat

they find a bag with J's symbol

IY starts sifting through a rack with short miniskirts and J pulls her away and says she can't wear them. haha doesn't want any other guys looking at IY

They get in a tiny argument but J let's her win since there's so many people looking at them.

IY looks at another rack of miniskirts and was like they're so short!!

You can't even walk right! You have to walk like this! *starts hobbling* lol

IY really wants this pair of blue leopard shorts but J won't buy them for her since they're so short.

She starts looking at another rack and he lightly pushes her away.
IY-*walking away* I was just going to wear them at home....

J-*expression totally changes* You were going to wear them at home?? Buy them buy them buy them! When you're with me you're going to wear them??? You're going to wear them just with me?? hahahaha

This greatly amused IY. She was actually really curious about his reaction so that's why she kept looking at the racks of short shorts and skirts.

They go walking through this outdoor market. It's J's first time and IY hasn't gone in a long time.

Some people eating recognize the couple and shout A and do the hand gestures which the couple do back

Some ajuhmmas even recognize them and do the "A"

They stop to look at a display of hair accessories

J-Do you want me to buy you one? I've wanted to buy you one of these.
IY-Really?
J-I just wanted to buy you one.
IY-Are you going to buy me one?
J-Of course! But what can you put in your hair? There isn't a lot of things you can do. (Cuz her hair's short.) If you're not going to wear it, don't get it and waste money.
IY-I'm going to wear it.

J thinks that walking on the street and just shopping and stopping to eat some odang is romantic. His idea of romantic is different than Alex's.

Andy fell asleep

and Solbi finished the dwin-jang-gook.

She makes this drink from Korean pears, honey, and dried bellflower stems that's good for the throat since Andy's been sick.

Solbi goes to a drawer and takes out a box and some thread..what could it be??

couple rings!!! THEY BOTH GOT COUPLE RINGS FOR EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was so sorry about losing the ring last time and having couple rings was always a dream for her. She thought it would be awkward to just give them to him so she's turning it into an event.

She prepares the eel

it looks soooo goood!!!

then she hangs up the ring inside the lamp attatched to this red plastic thing so when Andy sees it he'll pull the plastic thing and the rings will fall right in front of him on the thread.

IY and J are hungry so they stop to eat at this fast food place.

IY orders a SoonDae dish with smile on her face.

J just looks at her. He absolutely hates soondae. Although I've never eaten it, it sounds sooo gross. It's a sausage made of beef and bean curd stuffed in pig intestine....yum... J just orders ramen.

The ajuhmma asks if they want soju and J asks if they could have wine instead of soju lol.

IY's soondae arrives and she accidentally spills some after poking the dish with her chopsticks.

J overreacts and stands up away from the table.
J-You almost dropped that on my pants! This is the first time I'm wearing them!!!

J turns the soondae part of her plate (the other part has rice) away from him and IY snaps and says "Then it loooks I'm a pit and eating it myself!!!" lol

J's ramen arrives and he asks for an extra plate. He puts some of his ramen on it and gives it to IY ^^.
IY thanks J for the headband and he's happy ^^

What he liked most about their day was the headband. He really wanted to give her a present and he thinks it's romantic they just walked by and got the headband together. He would like to think that IY's favorite part of the day was the headband...

My favorite part was the headband. (^^) I liked everything but..we picked the headband together while just walking out on the street..because of that the headband is something very precious to me.

Andy wakes up and is so out of it.

Solbi calls his name a million times to come out and eat

Andy stumbles over to get the couple rings

and then groggily sits down at the table not noticing the red plastic thing on a string hanging down from the lamp like he was supposed to.

Solbi keeps mentioning the lights in different ways but Andy still doesn't notice.

Finally she just goes "Huh, oppa what's hanging from the light?" (Subtle hint huh?)

He sees it!!

I bet she's nervous ^^

Andy pulls it...

His reaction? Pure bliss? Jumping up and down? Goes and kisses Solbi? Laughter?

Nope.

They put the rings on each other. Solbi's really happy but Andy shows no emotion at all and doesn't look the least bit happy. Andy from the studio says that he really had no idea what to say at the time.

Solbi wondered at the time whether Andy was mad at her because of the rings.

Andy said he was embarassed when he saw the rings. He had thought a lot about buying the rings, bought them, thought a lot how to give them to her, but then right when he goes out to give them to her...then the Solbi's rings come out...how do I tell her this...

Solbi's so confused and flustered at Andy's reaction to the rings that she starts fiddling in the fridge for nothing. While she does it Andy places his ring for her right next to her bowl.

Solbi blabbers on about the rings and why she gave them to him and Andy says to eat to try and get her to notice the ring on her own.

She keeps talking as they eat and doesn't notice the ring at all while Andy silently constrains his frustration.

Finally he points to the ring with his chopsticks then starts eating again.

SHE FINALLY SEES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Solbi stares at it while Andy keeps eating. "Oppa what is this?"

She says that she realized that Andy is "above her head" and if she lived with Andy she would live very well. She needs someone who can control her and they can't be below her. She's amazed by how they thought the same thing and is very very happy.

Andy puts the ring on her and then says that if a ring fits on the girl's fourth finger and the guy's third finger, they're made for each other.

It fits!

Solbi's so happy

Now she has two rings

she's not going to take them off for any reason and whenever someone asks her who gave her the ring she's going to say her husband did. ^^

Then HB plays some sad music on her MP3 so HJ's like "To this kind of music we should cry while we eat." Then starts to do so lol

then suddenly HB lipsyncs along

and they realize it's a Chakra song but HJ says she needs her (forgive me for being ignorant about this) the little dot on the forehead thing.

Mother-in-law goes to the fridge..

and hands HJ a watermelon seed.

Lol. Everyone's happy and standing up while HB looks a bit..annoyed I guess?

Then suddenly...

ShinAe and Alex head over to MBC for Alex's radio show

ShinAe hasn't been to MBC in awhile so just walking around was fun for her

They see ShinDong and Kim ShinYoung recording

then Tablo.

They also see Alex's poster for his radio show.

They go into the studio a little early.

ShinAe is introduced to the youngest writer there

and the PD.

ShinAe goes to the bathroom and Alex reads through his script.

Suddenly ShinAe comes in...

A cake!!!

They sit down together and read through the script.

ShinAe talks about how she likes to mess with him a little because Alex's expression is cute and fun. She can't do it too much and likes this side of Alex.

A-Have you listened to the radio show?
SA-Which one? *turning her head and cracking up*

Then Alex goes on a rant about how she hasn't even listened to her husband's radion show or his cd lol

Alex goes in

ShinAe watches and listens from outside

HJ has to record one of SS501's Japanese songs to HB's tagging along

So HJ's rapping in Japanese

and HB's outside learns the rap after listening to HJ record and raps with him. OMG it's absolutely hilarious if you think about the situation. She's sitting inside a studio with like 6 other people that she doesn't know at all and starts rapping along with HJ while he's recording. ^^

They take a little break and HJ talks to HB from inside the studio. She can see him but he can't see her so HJ goes..."Do you want to be in front of me?" lol

HJ says that the lyrics of the rap are like let's hug, let's kiss...so stay where you are because it might get awkward. lol how thoughtful HJ

He says that the next part means what kind of feelings do you know (?).

So HB asks what he was feeling when he first saw her in Japan.

"Oh! Why'd she come?" HAHAHAHA ahh...

"Sadness"

HB says that she has to leave in ten minutes to go back to Korea

HJ suddenly leaves the studio and goes to sit next to HB

He gives her some Japanese crackers he likes

She says that she has to go soon. HJ looks at his watch and after a long pause says "Live here" lol. Then he suddenly comes up with the idea of HB doing some background vocals for the song.

He tells the director that his wife's a singer and tells her his idea and asks if they could just record it and then delete it later. She laughs and says it's okay.

So HB goes inside...

then sees that HJ's Japanese rap is romanicized in Korean. Earlier he made it seem like he learned how to read Japanese and such haha

haha he's a little embarassed about getting caught

HJ coaches HB a little on what to do

So HB starts recording..it's basically

It's hilarious-everyone in the studio's cracking up

She finishes and then goes "I did well didn't I?"
and right away HJ goes "That's not it!!" He tells her to be more sexy

So she tries again

HJ accidently calls her "YeoBo" which is like darling or honey ^^

She likes it so much she's dying

HJ coaches her more and tells her to be more breathy while doing them

then DonDon in the studio does his own background vocal haha

So HB tries again and this time is perfect

*applause*

They all listen to the recording and HB cracks up at it

HJ tells her to comeout

The rest of the staff seemed to enjoy her performance too

HJ says that HB's vocals most likely make it onto the album but he likes that he has their own version on a CD that he can listen to whenever.

HB has to leave now so HJ escorts her out.

I'm not exactly sure what HB's trying to say here. She saw HJ for a long time and had a really good time with him, but on the flight back home she had thoughts like maybe it would've been better not to come because she's sad she has to leave him. When she woke up the next day the first thing she thought about was her day in Japan.
She remembered while she ate too. "Everyone's probably eating ramen. YoungSaeng's probably still sleeping. Will someone be able to wake HJ up? Will they heat up the ham and eat it? I kept on thinking about it so much."

ShinAe says that Alex seems to enjoy his work a lot while she's just nervous and anticipating while she works.

She motions for him to dance

Summer vacation trip!!!

They're on their own romantic trips...

but it looks like the MCs come and interrupt them....

AnBi-I loved how they got each other couple rings-they definitely brought them closer.

HyunJoong-This couple is turning into my favorite couple. I love that they can be so weird in front of each other and they're always laughing. The recording part was sooooo funny.

AlShin-I heard that the PDs of WGM are purposely editing their parts to mold them into the awkward couple...WHY?! I don't enjoy it! ShinAe's finally able to call Alex 'oppa' and is comfortable even to mess with him. I hope them getting closer will be aired in the future.

CrownYoung-I love how close they are and how they deal with each other's faults. J's being his materialism and IY's temper and selfishness. IY's concern about J's health was touching too.

Next episode looks really fun I can't wait!!

Park Myung Soo says that the couple he thinks best fits each other is AlShin! Then he commands Alex to stop doing events haha.

Then each of the couples does a special pose to “campaign”

So Solbi and Andy are chilling at home then Solbi goes to a mirror then says, “I’ve gotten prettier haven’t I oppa?” HAHA

They get their mission and I think it’s something like one person does everything for the other person for a day.

They start arguing over who gets to do the ordering around..and Solbi loses with her terrible arguing skills lol.

She says she wants to make this day perfect for Andy and do everything for him to make up for her past mistakes.

Solbi gives Andy a massage. Ah apparently Andy’s starting to get a bald spot!!!!

Then Solbi uses this lotion on him that’s supposed to take your dead skin off or something but it doesn’t work and he ends up doing it for her.

Then she does it to his feet. She starts pushing pressure points on his foot from a sheet she printed off.

Then she drops to the floor and says she’s tired lol.

So while he cleans she lays down on the couch.

Solbi decides to jang-uh for him but she really doesn’t know how. ^^

Crown J has a surprise for In Young but suddenly she says that she’s sick.

She says she has a cold but J says she doesn’t look sick at all. She’s like “That’s the problem.”

J puts his hand on her forehead to see how bad her fever is but clearly can’t tell lol. But from her hot neck he decides to take her to the doctor’s.

His present is an album of their wedding pictures!!

She’s even happier when she sees his next gift!

She’s so freaking happy it’s so cute.

There’s one thing about the picture that annoys her-she’s leaning more towards him than he is to her.

He says it’s because there were other people around and says in the future he’ll lean towards her more lol.

Haha J says that his gold jacket makes him look like a trot singer lol

J keeps insisting on going to the doctor’s but IY doesn’t want to go. He goes “Your body is my body.” Ahhhh corny

Then he says that one of the things he hates the most is shots and if IY goes to the doctor and gets an examination he’ll get a shot.

J wraps a blanket around her and then she says that she must’ve gotten her cold from Andy or something

and he gets pissed lol

IY-That’s not what I mean. It’s just that Andy was sick last week and now I’m sick.
J-“I must’ve gotten it from Andy” what are you talking about?
IY-He has Solbi what are you talking about?
J-IY-a why can’t you meet my eyes?

J-Do you like Andy?
IY-What are you talking about? Jealous bug…
J-Really, in a wife husband relationship…what if I said, “Oh I must’ve gotten sick from Kim Tae Hee.”
IY-You haven’t met with Kim Tae Hee, I met with Andy at the recording!

They keep bickering for awhile and bring up Hyori and Andy’s long hair.

Then she yells that Andy’s and J’s faces are different after J asks if IY liked Andy’s long hair.

That did it…

“Go to the doctor’s with Andy”

“Whenever you did “A” it was for Andy right?”

She wins him over with her cuteness and he catches her when she pretends to faint.

Solbi and Andy go shopping at the market place.

They find Jang-Uh which I’m guessing is eels!! (ehhhh)

Haha Solbi keeps asking the lady on how to prepare the eels.

They go look for SanNakJi which is like a little octopus you eat live and Solbi tries to get Andy to eat a whole one. He really doesn’t want to and keeps avoiding her.

Then an ajusshi walks by and goes “Andy just eat it!” HAHAHAHAHA

Andy won’t eat it so the ajusshi just goes “give it to me” and slurps it up! (ewww) Solbi’s like, WTH??!!

So J and IY are going to the doctor’s…even though they’re dressed like they’re going out on a date somewhere lol.

J got a new bracelet lol

So they go in and the Doctor says to do this x-ray that takes like ten minutes

The doctor says for J to do it first if IY’s scared

Apparently IY asked the doctor ahead of time to give J a check up to see how healthy he is.

He’s scared!

But he’s doing it for IY! ^^

J tries to convince IY that it’s not scary at all but IY won’t do it.

She finally does it..

Then the doctor asks about taking a blood test

IY wants J to do one and he’s freaking out inside and J insists that he doesn’t want to do one.

As they go outside J blows up a bit at IY and was like did you prepare all of this ahead of time?

He gets his blood pressure taken

Omg they’re so awkwardly funny

Alex says that he earns all the money so he should do the ordering around

Then Alex gives ShinAe a copy of his album after she accuses him of giving his CD to everyone but her.

About his feelings when giving ShinAe his CD “I was apart from you because I was making this.” And then pretends to be a bit pissed that she hadn’t listened to it yet.

Apparently she lied and she had listened to his album. She was waiting for him to give it to her.

He invites her to his concert but her reply isn’t exactly enthusiastic so he retorts…”well if you’re not interest than it’s okay!” lol

They go outside and apparently ShinAe has to leave for a photoshoot.

As ShinAe gets ready Alex starts fiddling around in the kitchen

He made her this drink mixed with a multigrain powder-it’s super yummy and I’m guessing it’s good for diets since apparently ShinAe’s on one.

ShinAe leaves and Alex starts making food for when she comes back.

suddenly she hears a woman’s voice.

A Korean lady opens the door and HwangBo’s like…”I’m…HyunJoong’s……………………….wife…”

Apparently everyone left to go somewhere but she gets invited in.

The lady cooks SS501 food so their chef??

Then the lady asks who HB really is because she hadn’t heard of HJ having a wife. HB messes with her and was like “Oh we got married secretly and I told him not to say anything..wow he really didn’t say anything.”

Then she sees their schedule hanging on the wall…and…hahaha
three days before she arrived were all free days for them lol. Bad timing T-T

HB goes to see HJ’s room, the lady’s suspicious!

She finds the letter she wrote HJ before he left and is happy.

omg she looks so pretty here!!

Apparently the lady was like, well if you’re his wife do the housework here. (How rude!) so HB starts cleaning and such and the lady leaves because she has to study.

HB’s nervous that she’s alone.

She starts cleaning

She puts a picture of her and HJ by his bed and puts their contract there too

HAHA so HB’s says that HJ’s fans give him tons of food so she stole some from him.

Alex’s making ShinAe food at home

while ShinAe’s getting ready for her photoshoot

HB’s still waiting for HJ to come home

HAHA and then…you hear HyunJun (SS501’s baby) singing like he’s drunk and the door opening.

They come in…

and HB jumps out in front of them.

Haha they’re so surprised

they go to their rooms and find HJ’s part was the only cleaned

and HyunJun’s all disappointed that his room wasn’t cleaned

She begins to make them ramen

HJ joins her in the kitchen and says he’s happy to see her then goes “Why’d you come” then says it again in a nice tone lol

He says he missed her ^^

They all sit down and eat..

HJ shows his members the picture that HB put in his room of them in Jejudo

When they finish they decide to play rock paper scissors to see who cleans up

They chose teams with KyuJong and HJ as the two captains and HJ chooses HB first ^^

HJ’s team starts losing..things are up to HB. She wins against Jung min..

Now she goes against HyungJun (who hasn’t won rock paper scissors in five years) and she loses. T-T

So Alex’s still making food

while ShinAe

(She’s gorgeous!!!!)

She looks super tired and can’t keep her eyes open.

So HJ’s explaining to HB that they today was the first day all five have eaten together. He’s like…”Well why didn’t they say that they ate well……YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(towards his members)” Omg he cracks me up

“Awkwardness…”

He suddenly gets up and tells her to wait.

Then one by one his members come in and bow to HB and say that they ate well. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I seriously laughed till I cried at this part. That awkward silence was just HJ most likely thinking about what to do to his members to make them say thank you to HB. lol

JungMin goes “I’m looking forward to tomorrow(‘s meal.). Then all the members start listing things they want to eat.

HJ says he likes his wife doing things for others.

They start talking about the karaoke machine in JungMin’s room and go to set it up

So the members set it up and HB and HJ go in

then Arirang starts playing

Alex is going to ShinAe’s photoshoot to give food to her and the staff

He’s waiting outside this little tent things where she’s changing but when she goes outside she walks right past him

Someone asks for a chair and Alex goes and gets it and says “ShinAe sit here” and she sits in it but doesn’t recognize his voice.

He starts brushing her hair and she still has no idea he’s there

He says “aja aja” and she’s startled because she recognizes his voice but isn’t sure if it’s him.

Then he finally nudges her extremely high heel and she falls and sees him lol

She says she’s really tired (and is talking to him informally!!!)

Alex says that she looks really different while she’s working and found it hard to get close to her

HAHAHAHA omg what is he up to??!!

He said that his friends in Korea bought it for him so they could go to an amusement park but it turns out the mask doesn’t cover your face lol

He starts dancing-omg what a cutie (a weird one ^^)

Hwangbo starts dancing too lol

Then they both start dancing!!!

They go out and both agree that they wanted to have a date like this in Korea.

They go to a store and try on costumes.

Then the camera goes to SS501 sitting around the table talking about HB and how she’s like an aunt.

They try on more things

and start dancing in the store. OMG THEY’RE MADE FOR EACH OTHER!!!

then they realize all the employees are staring at them lol

They find a pair of weird sunglasses at the store

and give them to Crown J at the recording because if he puts them on then he’ll really look like a bug.

SS501 set up a party for HB

While HB and HJ walk down the street, HB mentions street performances in LA. Then HJ decides that since they don’t have money (?) he’ll dance and HB collects money since he isn’t embarrassed.
So he starts dancing and HB runs away like she’s embarrassed.

HJ-I’ve always wanted to do this-a weird date. hahaha

They arrive at SS501’s home…

The boys made them cocktails and of course they have to do a love shot

then HB and HJ read the letters that each member wrote them.

HB was really pleased by what they did and thinks they’re all so cute

Then they show HB and HJ the little display they set up with the contracts

HB tries to wake HJ up…(if any of y’all have watched SS501’s “Thanks for Waking Me Up” episodes, you know how impossible it is to wake that guy up)

I looove HJ and HB! They’re so dorky and get along so well. I mean dancing around the store in ridiculous costumes and walking around Japan in a Pooh Bear costume.

ShinAe and Alex seem to be getting closer. She seemed really happy to see him at her photoshoot and even started talking informally to him!!

IY seems to care more for Crown J and is even concerned about his health. It’s always been him doing things for her so it’s nice to see her worry about him a bit.
